FAQ:

Are these loops royalty free?
With the exception of the one-shot packs, no.  Please use this site to contact my management in the event of a placement and/or commercial release.

What's your cut?
All sample and loop collaborations are done in good faith by both parties.  I will scale my terms to the scope of the project (indie vs. major, new artist vs. established artist, etc).  However, generally speaking you can expect the following:

I split all credit, publishing, advance and points evenly with the other producers.  If I have another collaborator on the loop, we will still count as one.  A couple of examples:

You produce a beat for a major label rapper with my loop:
You and I split advance and points down the middle.  We split publishing 25/25 (with remaining 50 going to rapper).

You and two other producers produce a beat for a major label rapper with one of my loops that has another writer on it:
We all split the advance and points four ways.  My collaborator and I will split our 1/4 portion between us.  We split publishing 12.5% a piece, with me and my collaborator splitting our portion 6.25 and 6.25.  I will represent my collaborator alongside myself in our business dealings.

What's the difference between your sample pack and your loop pack?
The samples have full stems are kind of like mini songs.  My samples are usually the starting points of my loops; I take my favorite moments out of them and turn them into my loops.  However, UNLIKE my loops, I will also account for the cost and credits of the live players/singers involved if we get a major label placement.  (The label would pay for this, not you).

Hey, a loop I heard on the demo isn't in the pack!
As the loops get placed, I will remove them from the pack and replace them with new ones.  I'll and keep the demos updated to reflect that.

So does this mean I can't use a loop that's already been released?
That's right, you can't do that.  It's a part of a commercially released song now (or is on hold on for one).  Just hit me up, though.  I can make you something similar.

So why would I use your samples when I can just use something like Splice that is royalty-free?
First and foremost, what I offer here cannot be found anywhere else.  All of my sounds are 100% original, live-played (where applicable) and NOT based on any other sounds or sound packs from Splice or anywhere else.  I either make the sounds in my studio with my own equipment and collection of instruments or my collaborators do.  Second, every producer that downloads a pack now has a relationship with me.  You can use the contact portal to send me flips.  If I like your beats, I'll send them to my publisher and label/artist contacts and see if we can get a placement.  I'm also down to actively collaborate if I dig what you're doing.  Lastly, I've been successful with my approach to my career and I want to share some of that with you.  Let's make some dope music!
